Visitor since 9/1/2004:

Welcome to the 1st International Skat Software Championship.

We proudly present the following 5 products that participate in our competition:

Rasche`s Skat 6.0
Rasche`s Skat 5.25
Rasche`s Skat 4.06
Skat 2
Tom`s Skat

One additional product is not included because it is still under development and will not be available this year.

How does it work?

Each of the five software participants can enter up to 8 playing levels.  The games are played according to the official rules of the the German Skat Federation (DSKV).  That means, without Contra/Re, Ramsch, Bock Rounds, etc..

The following "participants" were registerd:

Rasche`s Skat 6.0
8 Playing Styles
Rasche`s Skat 5.25
4 Playing Styles
Rasche`s Skat 4.06
4 Playing Styles
Skat 2
4 Playing Styles
Tom`s Skat
2-4 Playing Styles

There were 24 simulated players altogether.  Each "player" competed against the others in every possible combination.  This resulted in 5000 hands for each pairing.  The winner of each hand within a pairing received 2 match points.  The second-place "player" received 1 match point.  The results are accumulated into a table and the winner is the player with the most match points.

Thus, there was a total of 2024 pairings over 253 game days. The total number of hands was 10 120 00.
